The Big Waste: Why Do We Throw Away So Much Food?

This short documentary focuses on the tremendous amounts of food that is wasted in the U.S. But also in the EU, around 88 million tonnes of food are wasted annually. This is associated with a cost estimated at 143 billion euros. This film investigates the problem and its major human and environmental costs.
