How This Town Produces No Trash 

A trash-free city... Sounds like a dream? In 2003, the local government in Kamikatsu, Japan started a new, rigorous recycling program - perhaps the most ambitious in the world. The result is that the town now composts, recycles, or reuses 80% of its garbage.
