This Polish Cycling Path Glows in the Dark

This new solar-powered bike path in Poland glows bright blue at night! Studded with phosphor-coated crystals that emit light after being charged by the sun, this pathway is designed to keep cyclists safe at night. The inspiration was a similar glowing bike lane in the Netherlands designed by Daan Roosegaarde as a homage to van Gogh’s "The Starry Night."
