Gates Notes

Gates Notes is the personal blog of Bill Gates, where he shares about the people he meets, the books he is reading, and what he is learning. Bill Gates stopped working for Microsoft and his investment company, so he can focus now on the work for his foundation.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation was launched in 2000 and is reported to be the largest private foundation in the world, holding more than $50 billion in assets.
The primary goals of the foundation are, globally, to enhance healthcare and reduce extreme poverty, and, in the U.S., to expand educational opportunities and access to information technology. The foundation invests a lot on health research into virus outbreaks.
